I entered the Prop 36 program
in 2003. I have completed
the program, and returned
back to my family and my
career. I am a professional
race horse jockey and won
2 Breeders Cup races last
year, which was the first
two of my career.
If it were not for Prop
36, I would have been in
a jail cell and not receiving
the help that I needed to
return back to my family
and career. I believe in
this program and it can
help individuals that want
to work the program and
not slip back into recidivism.
